Man Pees Way out of Avalanche

A Slovak man trapped in his car under an avalanche freed himself by drinking 60 bottles of beer and urinating on the snow to melt it.

Rescue teams found Richard Kral drunk and staggering along a mountain path four days after his Audi car was buried in the Slovak Tatra mountains.

He told them that after the avalanche, he had opened his car window and tried to dig his way out.

But as he dug with his hands, he realized the snow would fill his car before he managed to break through.

He had 60 half-litre bottles of beer in his car as he was going on holiday, and after cracking one open to think about the problem he realised he could urinate on the snow to melt it, local media reported.

He said: "I was scooping the snow from above me and packing it down below the window, and then I peed on it to melt it. It was hard and now my kidneys and liver hurt. But I'm glad the beer I took on holiday turned out to be useful and I managed to get out of there."

Parts of Europe have this week been hit by the heaviest snowfalls since 1941, with some places registering more than ten feet of snow in 24 hours.

Course...the question I have on this is....how did he get 60 beers into the car?

and my question is.. how come he didnt die of alcohol poisoning!? and also how did he manage to know what he was doing without being VERY DRUNK!? :shock:
 
Well hell a new way of survival. (note to pack 100 beers in case) :o
 
Think about it, if you have a box of 24 packs of beer, it's easy to have 4 boxes of beer to have 100 cans of beer. It's not like it takes up much space.

Poor people who accept heavy traffic antsy goes to bathroom and come back where you having good time.. Ugh, not again.. goes back to bathroom.. *pain ass* That why coming from BEER.. (chuckles)

other wise , This man is extremelly smart move and go forth urine on snow... Let's melt snow... Let's melt snow.... Hallauh!
 
well

he got to thinking that drinking beer makes you pee more than other liqiuds so therfore releasing body heat thru it makes the snow melt more so i guess thats how it works.huh.
 
Well, I don't drink beer either! ^_^ Anyway, I'm glad he found a way out of his predicament...but he sure gonna have a heck of a hangover. @_@
 
I think his drunkness found him a way out. Next stop for him is to go to AA meetings. :crazy:

If you drink beer slow enough, you can avoid alcohol poisoning. Also, when a person does something repeatedly... he or she will continue to do it when he or she is drunk.

For instance, if a guy started joking around with a few guys while drinking beer... he will very likely continue to joke around too hard. Heh!
