Welcome

Most of the people here use ASL (American Sign Language) which is used in Canada and the USA.

Are you looking to learn BSL or do you already know BSL and you're looking for other BSLers to chat with ? (your profile notes sort of sound like you already know BSL?)

There are a few BSLers here as well ...I'd recommend posting a "Wanting to learn BSL" thread in the "Sign Language & Oralism" section of the AllDeaf board.

Without knowing where you live there are a few websites & organizations that might be helpful if you're looking for BSL classes and ways to meet other Hoh/Deaf people in your area (your profile says you're deaf, yes?)

BDA - British Deaf Association

RAD - Royal Association for Deaf people

Here are some links to "in person" BSL classes

BSL Academy (connected with BDA)

BSL Training (connected with RAD)

BSLWorks

Remark! Access

Signature (look under "learners")

SignPost BSL

Online BSL dictionaries/resources

SignStation

DeafSign.com

BritishSignLanguage.com
(Free videos of signs are under the "index" section. The free videos are "choppy" and would be difficult to learn from I'd think. They do offer a CD for purchase which promises videos which are larger and better quality as well as additional vocabulary etc. but honestly, I'm not sure that I'd recommend spending £25 on something that may or may not actually be useful (or accurate for the area in which you live as sign languages do have regional changes just like English does eg. UK "lorry" is USA/Canada "truck")

I hope this helps!!
