Make 1 big donation or few small donations?

If given choice, would you make a donation of $100 or would you donate $25 to 4 different organizations? Which would you prefer and why?

For me, I would probably prefer 4 for $25 each. That way, I can get my feet in different doors and improve networking. It is better to help different organizations than going all head into one group. Each groups would benefit from my donation so I would be helping in many different ways.

I donate to several organizations. Some more frequent amounts, and some less frequent larger amounts. Sometimes there is an occasion where I make a one-time donation. It depends on several factors, so I don't have one set "rule" for giving.
