Since my brother will be headed to war soon this really made me think.

My mother emailed this to me.

A mother asked this President... 'Why did my son have to die in Iraq ?'

A mother asked this President.. 'Why did my son have to die in Saudi Arabia ?'

A mother asked this President... 'Why did my son have to die in Kuwait ?'

Another mother asked this President... 'Why did my son have to die in Vietnam ?'

Another mother asked this President... 'Why did my son have to die in Korea ?'
Another mother asked this President... 'Why did my son have to die on Iwo Jima ?'

Another mother asked President... 'Why did my son have to die on a battlefield in France ?'

Yet another mother asked President... 'Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg ?

And yet another mother asked President... 'Why did my son have to die on a frozen field near Valley Forge ?'



Then long, long ago, a mother asked..

'Heavenly Father .. why did my Son have to die on a cross outside of Jerusalem ?'


The answer is always the same... 'So that others may live and dwell in peace, happiness, and freedom.'

This was emailed to me with no author. I thought the magnitude and the simplicity were awesome.If you are not willing to stand BEHIND our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them....
 
In your opinion..is it possible to stand behind our troops but not support the idea of wars? That's how I feel.
 
I don't care for the ending of that email. :hmm: It's not right.
 
My brother is in army but I do support troops but not the war.
 
Personally, I'd believe that they all are fighting over one thing, not the nation. But the Oil. They also hid massive amount of gold all over the desert from the Gulf war. Iraq is full of things that we know NOTHING about.
 
The flaw with that message is that the Iraq war was totally unjustified. There is NO WMD. And this country was NEVER under immenient threat from Saddam.. NEVER!

Yes it is. These soilders need our support. They joined knowing they had a possibility of going. They joined to fight for what they believe in.

If they were drafted then, I can say support the troops and not war.

But you can not actually support the troops in this war, if you do not support what they are fighting for.

I just hate the idea of wars and wish we can live in peace on this planet. Oh well.
 
Will you chilling out please? Please be relax. Don't be panic about war? Can't we talk about explain and get understand that clear. Don't be misunderstand each other over war fighting for. People have no idea what is fighting for? If it's not finish war. The country need to be victory to beat the evil enemies. It will be peacemaker.

chilling out. Relax??? Don't be panic. Just be patient and time. Because other country enemies wouldn't destroy our Value America. It's not the innocent people's faults.

I am not panicking. I just wish there were no wars to begin with.

Yeah. I am talking to you. I am trying to be nice to anyone. I am support less government dictator in the planet. We need to be hope for our earth replacement. But the US troops need to fighting over evil government on murder of humanity people. It's bomb in everywhere. In USA have no problem. It's good thing to protect our country from terrorist. Have you see the movie of terrorist on History Channel?

Yeah. I do understand how do you feel. Don't worry about war ok? Our country will be fine. The important is criminal activities less. The important is help people. Some people don't understand what is the war is going on.
 
I also support the troops because they're sacrificing their lives, their families, their friends to fight for our country but sadly I don't support the war, I want peace. :(

That is what we all want. Peace..

But how can we have peace when our Country the good of' US of A is under constant threat.

Doesn't matter what President we have. We will continue to be threaten by other countries.

What are we suppose to do?

Fight back? or sit back and watch countries build power to take bit by bit to gain more power. Then it would be cathropic
