Where did you rent it from?

I just checked it online, no subtitles. However, there is a CC symbol on the back of the DVD packaging.

I noticed that the new TV movie on DVD, "Tin Man" isn't either captioned or subtitled.

Really?

I almost rented Tin Man on DVD from Blockbuster. Hmm...

I've noticed that some companies are having DVDs developed in other countries, especially Canada. Canada doesn't always care much for subtitles and/or captions. :(

I should have look to see if they have CC or english subtitle.
I always put name of the movie in my queue.
From now on, I have to check to see if they have CC/subtitle before I put them in my queue.

I'm disappointed. Sometimes my partner have to intrepeter for me if I don't understand what he or she's saying. I'd rather watch with english subtitle. Oh, well.

I think it's supposed to be captioned. What television are you using?

Perhaps, it's your television that's not accepting the DVD's captioning layer.

Did you change your DVD set-up between standard and progressive scan?
