Just curious, do you people generally have good or bad luck with anything.

For me, my luck generally runs on the positve side. I've been pulled over 13 times, my last time being just tonight, and i have only gotten 1 ticket, and 1 parking violation out of all of those times.

the reason i brought this up is because tonight, I got pulled over, and the first thing he asks is "have oyu been drinknig"... well.. it's friday night.. so naturally, i had been... i realize it was stupid, but this is the *FIRST* time i've ever drove drunk... well... i made a big mistake, I replied with this --

"occifer, i swear to drunk i'm not god!" haha, anyway, teh guy starts ot laugh, and then i can suddenly see his face clearly, ends up hes my mom's cousin, and he knows me pretty well. he said "time to go home, kid" and follows me until i get into the drive way, i thank him and come inside :)

Talk about luck!

One time, MANY years ago, when I first moved into my old house, I got stopped by RI State Police on my way home from the bar, just around the corner from my house. OMG, I only had a few drinks, but I was feeling pretty good. Well, they pulled up along side of me in the car, gave me my license and registration back, and took off. I was SOO damn lucky.

for me, no i never get any luck lately.. i wait for tax check come in my p.o. i had been waiting for my fucking check make my big luck in my life... pray for me have luck asap.. cross fingers..

I've been lucky everytime. No tickets out of about 15 pullovers. One of the closest calls was when I passed a trooper car who was in an unmarked car after I passed two trailer trucks. Going over 70 mph in 55 speed zone. My excuse was..."You hit the brake lights and I decided to pass you while I was already in the speed zone to do it quick enough to be safe." He laughed and said "Wait here and I get ticket book to write on" Actually he needed something hard to write on to pass on "Drive more careful now" then gave me back the license and registeration info. Whew.

Other part was..I drove a company car while my boss was sitting beside me. He's the manager of a DOJ office that I was subcontracted for. He wanted me to hurry him to somewhere so he made me speed. A cop car light went out behind me and he told me to keep driving and don't pull over..then later when a second cop car came around behind us until he said, "Fuck them, pull over and I'll yell at them." It was difficult to stay calm.

I'll call that skills...not good luck. :p
