You know, when i tell my friends about a girl that i liked, and stuff like that, they always tell me that if I really want her, i should get a different style of clothes, and just be cool and of course, the most annoying part is that they always tell me to lose the glasses...that really pissed me off! I NEED glasses to see, read, and write! and contacts just aren't my style, sorry. I just thought wearing glasses is the easiest for me, as eye wear, so they aren't really easy to lose as contacts are and they even protect your eyes from "anything" that tries to go into your eyes...as if someone tries to pepper spray you and you have your glasses on, you are lucky because your eyes never were burned though. There are alot of people who look good with glasses and glasses come with style too you know. I wear thin silver framed glasses...(sort of like Logan's glasses in Fox's "Dark Angel") Most ppl tell me that i look good with glasses and few tell me that i should lose 'em and wear contacts...i thought that was really disrespectful and crude because if you want something to see, then wear something to see, no matter what you wear...contacts or glasses...it just doesn't matter. My mom wears contacts and i respect her for that and she respects me for wearing glasses...even my stepfather and sister wear glasses too (mostly for reading) I wear glasses all the time y'know. I think i kinda like 'em though. sure, they used to get bended alot, broken alot, or some lens get loose, but still they aren't that easy to get loose and aren't as expensive as contacts are. If a girl wants me to be who i am, then the glasses should stay on. Anyone who tells you to loose the glasses should stfu and get lost.

If you feel comfortable to wear glasses and not want to wear contact lenses...then thats fine. Just be yourself. Don't let anyone tell you or try to change you which that is not you that you are not comfortable with. :)
 
I wear glasses most of the time. I do like contacts too, but right now, I can't afford them. Be yourself.
 
yeah.. be yourself.. all the matters to wear or not wear.. if you are comfortable with.. :D
 
but still .... lol - i don't like wearing glasses at all ..... cuz it makes everything small ...... with contacts, whooo SO much better - ya know ??
 
lol that proably depends on your vision level...heck, everyone has different levels of vision

just be yourself....do not change for anyone...i wear glasses..obviously...i love them...i havent tried contacts..one day id like to but i know my eyes are sensitive..so if i cant take contacts..id still wear glasses..if someone doesnt like it..tuff shit :)

Alota peeps try to change who I am and I dont change for them. I change for myself and if it makes me feel good about myself then I keep the way I am. If peeps dont like it then HELL with them. :D
 
I love glasses, I wear them, and prefer them over contact lenses.
 
I wear contact lens all the time, but I have my old fashion glasses for night wear at home. I need to wear contact lens because when I go out in the bright sunny day outside, my eyes get hurt from the brightness (blame to the nerve damages) and I must have sunglasses or darker lens to wear to go out. With my old fashion glasses, it's hard to find a good pair of darker lens to attach to my glasses. :ugh: So that's why I have contact lens, so I can wear sunglasses everytime I go out.

Also, I just don't feel comfortable wearing my glasses in front of people. No thanks. I respect these people who feel comfortable with what they wear. I don't badmouth at them or anything like that. Just accept what they wear, for who they are. :thumb:
 
I have both glasses and contacts... I wear my contacts most of the time since I'm very actice and glasses get in the way.
 
It shows the true idenity... sometimes it makes them look smarter! :D Depending on each individual.
 
I love women in glasses also. Makes them look smart to me and smart is sexxy.
