My name is Alex and I am a hearing guy. Im A UT student, but currently am working for Alcoa. I have taken multiple class to learn sign language and was looking to see if there were any girls out there that would want to teach me more and possibly mold something out of this. Im 20 years old so preferribly women in that age range. Let me know if anyone is near these areas. I go to school in Knoxville, but I am from Atlanta and travel down there frequently to see family....SO shoot me a a message if you in that area.

Try DPHH in your local if they have one. DPHH- Deaf Professional Happy Hour.

Go to deaf social, if you're willing to have relationship with deaf mate.

I grew up just outside of Knoxville, but called Atlanta home for many years.

There is/were a deaf gathering in the food court area at the West Town Mall in the western part of Knoxville and meet at the bowling alley somewhere in eastern/northern part of Knoxville after the mall. They had it on the first Friday of every month - I don't know if they still have it as they just recently started it.

Have you thought perhaps you could volunteer some of your times at TSD or KCD (formerly known as KACCD)? You could contact TSD for some info at 594-6022 (voice/TDD) or KCD at 579-0832 (voice only). Maybe you will meet your dream lady that way. You could attend sporting events there.

As for Atlanta, there are lots of deaf events/gatherings held often. There are also several in Georgia outside the greater Atlanta area. Are there specific areas of Atlanta/Georgia would you like to do?
