Looking for Simpsons Haters

I want to talk to some people who hate the Simpsons like I do. There are tons of "Simpsons are the Best" websites out there, but I can't find a good community to talk about why I dislike the show.
I just can't stand the stupid jokes. It tries too hard, especially now when it tries to be family guy...
anybody feel the same?
 
Tries to be Family Guy?

It was here long, long before Family Guy and just to let you know, Family Guy relies a lot on Pop Culture. So it will become quite stale before The Simpsons ever will.
 
No, because Simpson's RULES!!!!

Family Guy is unfunny, and clearly came way after Simpsons.

Even my mom likes the Simpsons....
 
Nope. Big Simpsons fan here. Comedy with biting social commentary, what's not to love. Lisa is my favorite. :D
 
It brings out the extremes in people, doesn't it? :giggle:
 
I'm a big Simpsons fan and, while Family Guy is funny sometimes (until it gets to the point where they refuse to stop beating horse) it's no way near the same caliber as my beloved yellow family.

Also, I don't mean to talk down to anyone, but it is a reality that most of the "stupid" Simpsons jokes have to be understood; they could only relate to people that lived in or through a certain time period or are knowledgeable as to whatever they were alluding to.

One of my major dislikes about Family Guy is how to feel the need to explain or expand on every single one of their jokes with those cut scenes!
 
I never really liked both Simpsons or Family guy. The humor usually doesn't click well with me.
 
I don't think The Simpsons will end due to technology played a role with the film. I am sorry for some of you, haters.
 
I don't watch both. does that mean i hate the two shows? :hmm: my mom is a fan of simpsons.
 
Know a family of simpsons fans? or perhaps someone who has never watched?

I know we are all Simpsons fans here, but do any of you have a friend, acquaintance or perhaps mortal enemy who has never seen an episode?
Or perhaps you know of a family who sits down every sunday to watch the show together? Or even do that for the plethora of reruns available round the clock.
 
The Clevelands is a new show similar to American Dad, The King Hill, The Family Guy and The Simpsons.....it's coming this fall. :roll: There sure are many "family" comedy cartoons popping up..
