Looking for friends

I'm learning Level 1&2 BSL and I would love to have a deaf friend. I love the deaf community so having a deaf friend would be amazing as I don't know any already.
I'm a shy(at first) 16 year old going into college September.
 
Hello and Welcome! You said you were learning BSL not ASL so I assume from that that you live in England. I live in England in Birmingham.
