Looking For Deaf Community In Charlotte

Hi everyone! I'm in a program learning ASL to become an ASL/English interpreter and I would really like to immerse myself in the Deaf culture and make some Deaf friends. I have met one person on my own, but want to be as involved in the community as possible. I am in Charlotte, NC and was wondering if anyone has any advice for me or is in the same area and interested in getting to know one another? Thanks!
