Hey everyone. I was wondering if there was anyone who would want to be penpals with me?
 
When you say "penpal", what do you mean by that?

Are you looking for someone to actually write you letters or is emails good enough?

What about PMs?

Well either, I was talking about the old fashioned way, writing a letter and sending it through the mail. I will be happy with any, email, PMs, or instant messages. GUESS WHAT????? The new Stargate movie is out today!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (maybe I got a little too excited).

Hahaha... I've got a couple more seasons of Stargate SG-1 before I do those 2 movies. :)

that is very fun thing to do pen pal ith letter n paper. it would be fun to do. I have yahoo msgr if you want to chat until you can send PM's here on AD....jst look in my profile for my yahoo messenger name, k
 
I am curious aoubt your AD name....Lakshmi??? is that relating to that hindu goddess Lakshmi? or that little girl in India that was born with 8 limbs....just like the hindu goddess lachsmi. Or something completely else?
 
Old time penpal used snail mail ;)

Today, there's penpal using e-mail, instant messaging, social network (myspace, facebook, forum like AD), etc. Although some would still share snail mail :)

Penpal is fun communicating with different people around the world ;)
 
My screen name came from the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. I liked the name. Jasmine is a flower, so Jasmine4Lakshmi became my screen name. I am a Christian but I do find other cultures and religions facinating.

Well, it's a new feature that was added a while back (less than 6 months ago). Since most of the active members have over 100 posts, it's easy to forget about this feature. :dunno:

So, Jasmine4Lakshmi... do you already have your own pen pals from elsewhere?

I used to have one years ago when I first started using the internet in 1994. I met this gal in an online chatroom and we kept in touch for a few months through mail. We eventually lost touch with each other... I don't remember why though.
