Does anyone know a good compatible headphone for the AB Harmony? I am searching for a good headphone with good sound that is compatible with the AB Harmony. Also, is it good in long term to wear headphone over the T-MIC? This is for one right ear only. Anyone has experience with using headphone for music?

Thanks so much in advance.

I bought a "cheapy" headphones at Big Lots, works well enough for me and it goes over the ears so the T-mic picks up the sounds from the headphone quite nicely.

Hello there!

I am an AB user who has had the Platinum Series Processor, the Harmony, and now the Naida Q70. You are free to use the T-mic with headphones of any type as much as you want! It really comes down to trying out a variety of headphones and see what works best for you. I have 3 sets that I use. I have a pair of wireless Sennheiser headphones that are connected to my TV (I also have TV Link with my ComPilot, but that's another topic.) I have a pair of Bose headphones that also have a microphone in the cable so that it can be used for calls as well as music when used with a smartphone. I also have a pair of Audio Technicas that I use with my drumset (it has a very long cable and deep reflexive bass response.

While I am not a big fan of Beats Audio, the studio editions can give you that reflexive bass response on the ear to give you more bass perception as well as the "Remote Talk" built into the cable which allows you to talk on the phone with them as well. Personally, I think they sounded a bit muddy in the midrange due to the over-driven bass (and I like my bass.) They are also over-priced, but because of their success.. it seems now that $300 dollars is the new price point where it used to be $150 dollars for truly high-end headphones.

Most cans have worked okay for me with my Harmony and Neptune. My real issue is getting good sound on my ear that still has some natural hearing. Do you have any hearing in the contralateral ear?

The current set I've been pleased with for that has been a pair of AIAIAI TMA-1 Studio headphones, which are kinda pricy.

Best Buy has a pretty big selection of headphones that you can go and try in the store. You don't have to buy from them, you could just write down the model number and buy online.

Thank you so much

Thank you so much for all the kind responses and suggestions. I will try the AIAIAI TMA-1 Studio. I like it because it comes with the microphone. I am surprised that headphone is ok for the T-mic since I thought that it may interfere with the processor itself. Also, I had my surgery since 2006 with the Harmony, do you think insurance will pay for an upgrade to Q70? If not, how much does it cost for the Q70?

Thanks so much again !!!
