Hi

What state should I moved to and why?

Try Indiana

Central Indiana

Born a Hoosier, will die a Hoosier

Beautiful country side and farms.

Quiet and peaceful.

Of course, if ya wanna party and dance your brains out, Indianapolis is only 30 mins away and lots to do.

Property taxes isn't that bad if you're looking for a modest house. Apartment is aplenty with rate choices. Jobs is ok, plenty of blue and white collar jobs. But with the economy, it'll be a tad harder to find a decent job. Depending on your skills and especially college skill(s).

It all depends on what your needs are and what you are looking for..

California. Why? Because it's California! :D

New York, New York - so good they named it twice! :D

Last time I was there, I walked past a bank with it's window blown out by a hand grenade because a ticket cop was standing there at the window watching them robbing the bank.

The cop was ok, gave chase and got them with the help of other cops.

Um, no thanks NY :p

well they got caught. :cool2:

btw - when was that?

Um, 1988 or 1989, Brooklyn NY it was.

obviously..... 1988 was a very long long time ago. Things have VASTLY changed. That's why NYC was the safest city in USA for some time couple years ago. So safe that Philly mayor asked NYC mayor and NYPD commission for advice for their crime issue. NYC is still currently one of the safest cities in USA.

That'd be something I'd like to see. :cool2:

Florida!!! The Sunshine State....:D

My dad bought a winter house down there. Mid state, by the west shore. Good golf course too. :cool2:

He got a lucky sale too, cuz some Canadian guy had to sell it after he found out he couldn't stay there for an X number of months out of a year or he would lose the free Canadian health care. So he sold everything, furniture and all (plus he didn't wanna pay the custom taxes for the stuff he bought while living there), except for his personal effects.

So he spends all his winter months down there, golfing, naturally. :giggle:

it's a cultural shock for many whose views were marred by old movies and old news. those are long gone and replaced by Time Square, Madison Square Garden, etc.

Don't move to Ohio, we are quickly becoming Michgan south.

I like Tennessee, North and South Carolina, and southern Kentucky is nice.

You mean quakafornia? And Mudslidforia? Or when the big one hits, slideintotheoceanforia? How about Califireya? (yearly forest fires)

No thanks! :giggle:

I spent 3 weeks in the heart of LA and now, I HATE California. I watched the news for less than 5 minutes and there were 4 murders, 3 rapes, 3 carjackings, 3 bank robberies, and that was just overnight! I never felt safe. That is 6 months worth of news for the ENTIRE state of Utah.

And don't get me started on the traffic. I could make it to Vegas (3 states away) it the time it took me to drive to Santa Barbara.

That's cause you were in LA, a single city with about 6X the entire population of Utah...

I wouldn't go there either.

If you are truly an inmate I would have to ask what are you in for before answering your question.
