Go Cabbie Go!

The little kid with the red helmet was my next door neighbor's child. He saw me, an old man, messing around on my skateboard one day and came over to see what was up. I knew his dad, we talked, and I got him his very first skateboard for his birthday. I taught him how to ollie, took him to this skatepark and he just blossomed into a natural skater. He is winning contests now ;) This video was taken 3 years ago - you should see him now. (ok ok I am bragging ).

Awesome videos, I was a former stakeboarder but in the end I retired six years ago after I changed interest in cars,

skateboarding? disgusting.

Can't see the videos--they seem to be gone. :dunno:

Skateboarding has really changed since I had mine in the 1960's. We couldn't possibly do the tricks they do now. Our boards were flat, smaller, and smooth. We mostly went down hills and sidewalks.
