Why not merge all locked posts in one thread?? So we don't see ugly padlock everytime we go to general chat foum or whever it is there... I am getting sick of seeing ugly :locked:

Discussion, anyone?

No offense, but that is a really stupid idea. Putting them all in one thread will make it more confusing and unclear. Just leave them alone.

Yes, merging them is not a good idea. Some threads are locked for a reason, but left alone since it's still readable. Maybe, it was a thread asking how to post a picture. In that thread, someone else answers the question and the thread is complete. After that, it's locked. If it was merged, the time order would be mixed with another thread that was done around the same time. If people reviewed that thread later, they wouldn't be able to see that question being answered promply. Instead, it would be a bunch of posts that don't make sense. Also, simply ignore them.

:werd: i was thinking the same

Well, putting them all in one place like a junk-yard out the back of the property and calling it "Out Alex's Back 40". LOL!

Wow, lotta cadavers in Alex's junk-yard. LOL!

Eh..

I don't know. I like Rachel's idea, but I can see the problems with it, too. It's probably best to leave things as they are.

Yeah that thread should be named "Alex and Mods' Junkyard filled with ugly :locked: "

Also, embalming them might help with the stench! :D

I see nothing wrong with threads being locked... some members request their thread to be locked for a reason, some threads are being locked cause it went out of hand....It doesn't bother me at all when I see a couple of threads being locked, I usually ignore them and move onto another thread... :D

"Trash Box" as condiser don't look back the old thread which it's locked. Whatever you can read there again but cannot pre-post it again..
