Link, the well known videogame character to gaming geeks and freaks all over the world, plans to have another adventure on the Nintendo GameCube...and of course, this time...THIS time it will be DIFFERENT.

Link was in two games for the Nintendo GameCube last year..."The Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker" and "Soul Calibur II" which Link appeared in entirely different from the cel-shaded cartoony look.

Link obiviously looks MUCH better in an anime style adult look with realistic facials, wrinkled clothing, and a REAL sharp sword and BIG shied...lol so Nintendo decided to do something about this in the next Zelda game.

Nintendo has spread some preview pictures that will be shown at E3 later this may. ;)

I will SO definetly get that one.

**spoiler alert!**

pictures are shown

ahhh...this is the NEXT generation of the Legend of Zelda series, Ladies and Gentlemen...I definetly cannot wait for this one to come to my gamecube soon!

(release date unknown but possibly about next year indeed)

They have a video on this one at the official Nintendo website!

Go check it out!

Oh yeah, the Zelda franchise is returning the ol' good days of the N64!

Yep, I'm glad they're using 3D again. The first game was nice and cute, but I would like to see some realism on Gamecube.

The Wind Waker was truly a masterpiece, yes it was very different, but it was a great game.

But I am glad to see that they are bringing back the realism to the game. I also noticed that they had slipped some of the familiar creatures from the Wind Waker game into this one. :)

Oh man...I bet so many people would ask Miyaotoa (sp?) the creator of Mario and Zelda series to sleep with him since this is exactly the kind of game every geeks and freaks would love to see in years to come :D

Of course, Zelda has the most votes overall at E3!

What's the best thing you heard at E3?

Nintendo DS- 28%

The Legend of Zelda - 64%

Metroid Prime 2 - 5%

Wireless GBA adapter- 1%

I had mixed feelings and didn't quite understand what Nintendo was doing with the Nintendo DS.

But when I saw it for the first time on the net last night, and now... I am convinced that this is a brilliant handheld console!

One of the most brilliant ideas ever!

I meant, Wi-Fi (Meaning you can play with your friends via Internet!) and Touch Screen, and it's capable of 3D games?

Nintendo had made a great comeback!

By the way, XBOX Live and EA teamed up, finally and I can't wait!

Xbox live and EA games teamed up?

ABOUT fuckin' time! lol

Isn't life wonderful, eh?

Check the Xbox website out, they have some stuff on that.

I wonder if they would show us some preview on Marvel vs. EA games? might be interesting

Link keeps getting better and better...

what more would you ask for? Zelda's cleavage? :D

lol

Hey guys, according to IGN news, this game (unknown name yet) is not Zelda the wind waker 2 if in case you don't know that... that game takes place after Zelda MM and before Zelda WW.. according to Zelda WW storyline, the grandma said the original Link disappeared after Zelda MM and no one knows what happened to him.. We will find out what happened to him that game. Also they are still working on Zelda the wind waker 2 for a year and counting. This game we saw was developed for almost 4 YEARS

I'd rather stick to the realistic more mature Link, thank you very much.

The gameplay is just as mature as the Wind Waker. Only the graphics look much more adult instead of cartoony.

The Wind Waker is indeed a great game and I am glad that I played it. I am looking forward to the new Zelda (realistic version) just as much as I did when I was looking forward to The Wind Waker.

The Zelda legacy is not to be overlooked.

I hated the games... but if Link looks better, I might give it a looksee.
