I agree and a motion sensor will freak out a trespasser more than a light that is on all the time... I have moition sensor lights in my yard and the lights come one when some one comes in... it allows me to know someone is here...and if the trespasser sees a light coming on all of a sudden they will more than likely to run.  Thinking someone saw them or caught them...
