Since Christmas is just around the corner, I just thought of an idea of us sharing some Christmas songs. Now, don't be shy. :giggle: Of course you can use your own imagination of a Christmas song if you like. But, keep it clean. ;) I'll start first since I created this thread.

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

Santa Claus is coming to town

You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry,
You'd better not pout, I'm telling you why,
Santa Claus is coming to town,
Santa Claus is coming to town,
Santa Claus is coming to town.

He's making a list, he's checkin' it twice,
He's gonna find out whose naughty or nice,
Santa Claus is coming to town,
Santa Claus is coming to town,
Santa Claus is coming to town.

He sees you when you're sleeping,
He knows when you're awake,
He knows if you've been bad or good,
You'd better be good for goodness sake.
(Better be good for goodness sake)

You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry,
You'd better not pout, I'm telling you why,
Santa Claus is coming to town,
Santa Claus is coming to town,
Santa Claus is coming to town.

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night.
All is calm and all is bright.
Round yon virgin mother and child.
Holy infant, so tender and mild.
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Sleep in heavenly, heavenly peace. ;)

I really LOVE this song! I think those Chipmunk's voice are way tooo CUTE!!!

The Chipmunk Song
The Chipmunks

All right you Chipmunks!
Ready to sing your song?
I'll say we are!
Yeah!
Let's sing it now!
Okay, Simon?
Okay!
Okay, Theodore?
Okay!
Okay, Alvin? Alvin? ALVIN!
Okay!!!
Christmas, Christmas time is near,
Time for toys and time for cheer,
We've been good, but we can't last
Hurry Christmas, hurry fast, Want a plane that loops the loop,
Me, I want a hula hoop,
We can hardly stand the wait,
Please Christmas, don't be late.

Okay fellas, get ready.
That was very good, Simon.
Naturally.
Very good Theodore.
Ahkhkhkh. Ah, Alvin, you were a little flat, watch it. Ah, Alvin? Alvin. ALVIN! Okay!!!
Want a plane that loops the loop,
I still want a hula hoop,
We can hardly stand the wait,
Please Christmas, don't be late.
We can hardly stand the wait,
Please Christmas, don't be late.

Very good, boys. Let's sing it again!
Yeah, let's sing it again!
No, That's enough, let's not overdo it.
What do you mean not overdo it? Overdo it?
We want to sing it again! Now wait a minute, boys...
Why can't we sing it again?

I Saw Cheri and Angel Kissing Santa Claus

I saw Cheri and Angel kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
They didn't see me creep
down the stairs to have a peep;
They thought that I was tucked
up in my bedroom fast asleep.
Then, I saw Cheri and Angel tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Cheri and Angel kissing Santa Claus last night.

Just funnin' ;D

 very cute, Autumn Tree ;)

CHORUS
Go tell it on the mountain, over the hills and everywhere;
Go tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born!

1. While shepherds kept their watching over silent flocks by night,
Behold, throughout the heavens there shone a holy light.

2. 'Twas in a humble manger that Jesus Christ was born,
The God of all creation became a child that morn.

3. He came to die for sinners, to take away our sin,
That we may know salvation, and be complete in Him.

I Wonder as I Wander

1. I wonder as I wander out under the sky,
How Jesus the Savior did come for to die
For poor, ornery people like you and like I;
I wonder as I wander, out under the sky.

2. When Mary birthed Jesus, 'twas in a cow's stall,
With wise men and farmers and shepherds and all.
But high from God's heaven a star's light did fall,
The promise of the ages it then did recall.

3. If Jesus had wanted for any wee thing,
A star in the sky or a bird on the wing,
Or all of God's angels in heaven for to sing,
He surely could have had it, because He was the King.

4. I wonder as I wander, out under the sky,
How Jesus the Savior did come for to die
For poor, ornery people like you and like I;
I wonder as I wander, out under the sky.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You know DeafClimber and RoadRunner and ^Angel^ and Cheri, CookieMonster and GalaxyAngel and RebelGirl and Vampyrox,
but do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?
DeafScuba98 the Red-Nosed Reindeer, had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows.
All the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names;
they never let poor DeafScuba98 join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say:
"DeafScuba98, with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him, as they shouted out with glee: "DeafScuba98, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, you'll go down in history."

:P

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.

I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Grinch.

Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crockodile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Grinch.

The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."

You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Grinch.

Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.

You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce.

You people are so great! :grouphug: Thanks for sharing your holiday spirits!

Frosty the snowman

Frosty the snowman
Was a jolly happy soul,
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And his eyes made out of coal.

Frosty the snowman
Made the children laugh and play
And were they surprised, when before their eyes,
He came to life that day.

There must have been some magic in
That old silk hat they found.
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around.

O, Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be,
And the children say
He could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me.

Frosty the snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day,
So he said, "Let's run
And we'll have fun
Now before I melt away."

So, down to the village,
With a broomstick in his hand,
Running here and there
All around the square saying:
"Catch me if you can."

He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop.
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"

For Frosty the snowman
Had to hurry on his way,
But he waved goodbye saying,
"Don't you cry,
I'll be back again some day."

Thumpety thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Look at Frosty go.

Thumpety thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Over the hills of snow.

Infant Holy, Infant Lowly

1. Infant holy, Infant lowly, for His bed a cattle stall;
Oxen lowing, little knowing Christ the Babe is Lord of all.
Swift are winging, angels singing, noels ringing, tidings bringing:
Christ the Babe is Lord of all, Christ the Babe is Lord of all.

2. Flocks were sleeping, shepherds keeping vigil till the morning new
Saw the glory, heard the story, tidings of a gospel true.
Thus rejoicing, free from sorrow, praises voicing, greet the morrow:
Christ the Babe was born for you. Christ the Babe was born for you.

"The Twelve Days of Christmas" is often seen as simply a nonsense song for children. Actually, it is a song of Christian instruction with hidden references to the basic teachings of the Faith. Dating to the 16th century religious wars in England, it was a mnemonic device to teach the catechism secretly to youngsters. The "true love" mentioned in the song is not an earthly suitor, but refers to God Himself. The "me" who receives the presents refers to every baptized person who is part of the Christian Faith. Each of the "days" represents some aspect of the Christian Faith that was important for children to learn.
