Hi, I am a senior in high school and I'm required to do a graduation project(I-Search). I chose to research people who are deaf & also learn ASL. For the project we are required to interview people and I would like ask some questions, so anyone who knows ASL, and are deaf(but it's not required), please feel free to answer:

[1]Do you think being deaf is a disability?
[2]What type of school did you go to?
[3]Do you think that type of school benefitted you?
[4]What are your views on cochlears?
[5]How do you communicate with non-deaf people?
[6]Do you wish you weren't deaf?
[7]When did find out you were deaf? And how did you feel?
[8]If you have kids who are deaf. When did you find out they were deaf? And how did you feel?
[9]When did you learn ASL?Was it easy?If so/or not.Why?
[10]If you have kids(hearing/or deaf)Do they know ASL?
[11]Do you feel you live a normal life, like a hearing person?(A career, with family & friends)
[12]How do you feel about people who can hear?(For the deaf)
[13]How do you feel about people who can't hear?(For the hearing)
[14]Do you think ASL is easier to learn if you can hear? Why?
[15]How long did it take you to be able to use ASL fluently?
