Learning ASL

Hello,
Would anyone be interested in helping me become fluent in ASL? I have been told that my hearing is going away in my left ear and the school nurse (I am 17) has told me that I'm going to need to go to a hearing specialist. I decided it would be best if I became more fluent in ASL. Please let me know if you would be interested in helping me out.

Does squirrels play soccer? I wouldn't resist asking by looking at your screen name so I wondered. For learning ASL, I would suggest to start with fingerspelling first. Enjoy the journey.
 
It takes time & diligence to become fluent in any language, including ASL.
Are there any community ASL classes in your area or colleges with ASL courses?
I'm taking classes at our state deaf school which happens to be near me.
 
Check out if your school offers ASL. A lot of schools count it as a foreign language requirement credit. How lucky for you! :)
Do a Google search for schools in your area.
