To be fair, the same could happen with someone you met in a bar. Some people think online dating is different than in person dating, it's not.

If you use non deaf dating you must careful to dating please dont use match dating online or any types dating online but you can use deaf dating online would be ok..
 
Deaf dating sites may post the same danger as match.com. However, I am sure that most of those who are deaf are nice people. Have to be careful with any dating sites deaf or not.
 
It is sad but the dating site is not at fault. I am sorry to say but where was the common sense in knowing that we take our own risks when we meet strangers online? It has been an old warning for such a long time now.
 
Another greedy attorney raking more money while the rest is just losers. Sad!
 
Dating's always a risk. It's sad to not really know the person until they start to be who they really are. I don't trust first impressions, it's usually their charming representative until they let their guard down. Disappointing to have to find out the hard way, that's why I cancelled 3 engagements. Whaat I do now is I watch to see how he treats others (waiter, elderly, kids, etc) aside from me. Guess what happpens if he's a jerk.
 
Does it look like that Match.com and other similar sites will lose their business since women who heard about this incident might avoid those sites and don't want to risk their life?
 
Online is always a gamble, even for a guy. Someone like jess in the pic above is probaby an 80 year old. Tranny

I'm sure people including women who sign up for Match.com already know the risks. It may affect match.com a little bit if any. I don't really see a big dent, though.
