This is proably the first time for the second movie based on the videogame series to hit in theatres again of the 21st century in history since a Mortal Kombat sequel back in 1997.

If you must ask, yes i am pretty excited for another adventures of Lara Croft and shit like that...i actually liked the first movie, but lots said it sucked so oh well i thought it was pretty cool.

Hopefully, if the sequel is a bigger improvement over the orginal, then Tomb Raider 3 will immediately be made.

It isn't just based on the videogame anymore...Lara Croft is now in comics too and has been in TopCow comics for 3 years or so i collect alot of Tomb Raider comics and they are really good. Andy Park was an exellenct artist of choice for the comics.

Lara Croft first appeared in the comics with Witchblade back in 1997. I collected alot of Witchblade comics too, of course. Michale Turner was the man! Turner also created the "Fathom" comis too but not for long, but they were great too. Lara Croft was starting to be one of the most popular characters to be in the comics and now she made herself as a great success in comics ever since. She even made a crossover with the Darkness, also. She mostly hangs with other characters of Top Cow productions. For more information on Top Cow go to www.topcow.com

Top Cow productions is related to the Image Comics that is running by Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn) and other famous artists and writers, as well.

Anyway, Tomb Raider 2 is expected to hit in threatres this July. :D

Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness is expected to hit PS2 and PC this summer also

ohh, that'll be a toughie. Upcoming summer movies.. Lara Croft's second movie vs. Charlie's Angels' second movie.. one chick vs. 4 chicks.... You know which one wins the vote!

Hmm..I think I liked Lara Croft better than Charlie's Angels the movie. I thought the Lara Croft movie was a bit more practical in a way. As for Charle's Angels -- it was actually a sort of spin off from the TV show of the same name...Drew did OK...still, I found the storyline a bit silly.
