Konami's Lifeline, which will be the first voice activated action/adventure game, has launched it's official website. In addition to being able to download a PC demo to check out the voice activation, you can also watch interviews, see screen shots, and generally play with a pretty cool site.

Put down the controller and speak up! In the first-ever voice activated action-adventure game, players will work together with the main character Rio by verbally guiding her through this heart-pounding adventure. Compatible with any USB headset peripheral, LifeLine's unprecedented technology features voice-recognition of over 5,000 words and 100,000 phrases such as "Shoot!", "Run!" and "Dodge and reload!"

Remember previous games like Sega Dreamcast's "Seamen" and Nintendo 64's "Hey pikachu!"

I seriously think they were gay...

Its cool.

Wish they set sign langauge activate action/adventure in any games.
 
or cued speech, as another communication method. (I was taught at that kind of method ever since I was very little and ASL is still new to me)

:werd: I think they are a waste of time. I remember one feature in the Hey Pikachu! game: If you say "Playstation", Pikachu will get pissed of and cause a temper tantrum. Hehehe!

I also saw the Seaman game. That game was so lame! You basically sit around and talk to this boring little fish with a face of a human. Ugh!

LMAO! First time I see a video game console character trash its competitior!

Wonder if the PC user yelled "GCN, PS2 but xbox" what would the reaction be? ....Perhaps the PC would go into a seizure.....
