Just had a thought.
Anyone know someone who works as a specialist within law enforcement like video or scene analyst? They could do lip reading over binoculars or reviewing spy videos and that COULD provide great intel. Or alternatively, a type of job where it has to be silent and get communication across. SL would work big heaps in that environment.

I remember watching a take on X-Files where Mulder used the assistance of an old man who knew lipreading, and another part in Seinfeld (the one Marlee was in).

It could be an interesting job if it existed. :hmm:

The girl on F.B.Eye could :)

Her career in the FBI
After months of job searching, Thomas heard that the FBI was looking for deaf people.[1] Starting out as a fingerprint examiner, she became a lip-reader for an undercover surveillance team after Jack Hogan, an FBI agent, discovered her ability.[1][2] Thomas spent four years working for the FBI, from 1979 to 1983.[1]

I did for a brief time, but I really am not allowed to talk about it. It was a horrible job, though. :(
