King Dominion Deaf/HH awareness day - Richmond, VA

I wrote this letter :

Do you have CART interpreter for those who are not fluent in American Sign Language?

I would love to go to Old Dominion but I do not know sign language (yet). I'm profound deaf with hearing aids, now cochlear implant who rely on speechreading (lipreading, body language, and whatever hearing I have left with my hearing tools) I can only handle one-in-one conversation in person. Movies, Shows, telephone, etc. is very difficult for me even with listening devices, which is why I rely heavily on captioning. Plus, I hate to bring my hearing aids with me because I have to take it off and putting back on everytime I go on rides. I rather leave it at home, but if you can't accommodate that, I'm not sure I would enjoy myself there. Thanks for your time to read this.

Thanks,

On Sunday, pls remind me to write a letter as well. :)

Thanks. I plan on going too. It's is very close to where we live.

My friends and I reserved two cabanas at the waterpark so we probably will be hanging out at the waterpark most of the time depending on the weather and number of people. Maybe we can arrange to meet somewhere there?

Sure! After I plan all this first. I just found out about the park just now from my email. I have to talk to my husband about this which I'm sure he'll say yes and then we just need to figure out what time we want to get there and all.

I don't think I will be able to make it :( My son have a promotion test on that day.
