I need your feedback about my daughter who did trade things to other kids. Example, I was doing laundry today. I asked my oldest daughter where she got from unknown socks and jacket. She said, Oh my friend, and I was trading some things. I said, Oh all right, but I don't know if it is appropriate? :hmm:

If I had kids, I would say it was in appropriate... considering what they might be carrying before the clothes were exchanged. If they were already washed, maybe... but it would cause a lot of confusion with whose is what. I wouldn't like to be constantly surprised with finding random clothes in my laundry when I don't know whose it is.

I don't know if that is a new trend? I wouldn't have let my kids do it. It does seem it might be unsanitary.

I wouldn't like my child exchanging clothing, especially if I paid for it. Also, maybe the parents of the other child don't want them exchanging clothing either.

I wouldn't make a big deal about it but I would say no more exchanging clothing without prior parental permission.

I would not feel comfortable about it because I do not know what other parents think of this way due to some clothes may be expensive. It depends on how old they are and mature enough to return to the right person.

For me, I d not feel comfortable. lol

I think it is inappropriate since children are trading items with out parents permission. Also it creates fricton when friends wants the items back or wants to trade back and complains about it. My son came home with a bunch of Poke Mon cards a while back and I asked him where he got it. He traded a watch for it. I told him that I did not approve of him doing so. Meanwhile a few days later I get a call from the other boys parents wanting the cards back. I told the parent sure!! Give my son his watch back and can have the cards back. Did not work out so well since his son lost the watch. I went ahead and gave him the cards back.. Now my son is left feeling bitter about it.

Depends on age I guess. But I'd say, let's talk about it before... If we all agree (parents included) then it's ok. If not, no way.

Update...

Daddy and I talked with my girl! She clarified that she did the trade things alike pencil, cards, small things.

She said she went to sleep over at the girl scout camping last Friday. She got some damp clothes from the rain drips into the dome tent! She said friend told her keep it! I warned her that not do that again. She must inform to the girl scout troop! :squint:

I explained that you want to get infection or warts from someone's clothes. She freaks out and does not borrow it! :giggle:

Furthermore, I explained that if my daughter clothes are more expensive and not proper to trade for another kid's clothing worth one dollar! She understood! :) *sighs*

If I have a child, I will not let her or him to exchange things with other kids.

I don't allow it at all....they have to ask me first before trading anything....and I, too, check their clothes and if something comes up that is "unusual", I ask "where did this come from?"....Just yesterday, my son's friend told him he would give him $60 for his IPod....and I told my son..."No Way!"

parents otherwise smart not allow on because chidlren trading because protect it

parents is right handle!

I remember I did long tim e I ask my dad I trading games

my father said no
my parents value own propery I can't force to my parents

I respect to my parents reason is right!

Didnt someone post awhile back about their kid who is at deaf school trading ci parts with other kids on the bus.

I wouldn't trade clothes, it bit too much.

I think trading with cards to cards like Pokeman cards with another person got Pokeman cards, that kinda the point.

My daughter did that with her best friend on the bus: they would swap pieces of their processors to build multi-colored processors (there'd be a mix of pink, brown, purple swirls, etc.). They haven't done it recently, but we had to ask our audi to set the processors not to work with the wrong girl's implant, otherwise they'd be getting some uncomfortable results.

Bus is very not allow! muplite card reason, bus strictest law!

i think lili is quite young under 8? I dont think they understood the cost of ci parts or that the wrong processor could be painful.

is it legal to trade ci parts with your friends? yes it is

would parents allow it? probably not
