I took the pic of Transit Police with K-9 dog on the train line 55.

Transit police officer with K-9 dog checking for bomb, illegal drugs and proof of payments on the train, mostly at Mall of America and 28th Ave P/R station.
 
yes, i remembered there was homicide and fights by gangs or other people on the transit last spring/summer.. so they put police and k-9 for safety... they wont be on transit for long, maybe couple more months.. if there's crime again, they will put police back on...
that the reason for police and k-9 on transit... whats more.. since gas price went up.. more people using transit and rail and buses too..
 
and they have threats so they are concerned thats why the security are beefed up now.. but that is in NY.. i dunno about others.. but still better safe than be sorry.. so keep an eye out on packages left on trains and report it immediately.
