This is very sad and heartbreaking story... quite eye opener.

The sister did all she could to seek justice for her brother with their abusive father.

How tragic this story is. The case worker should be fired for not doing their job.

:(

What happened to Cameron? What happened to the mother? What happened when the police showed up?

I agree that the case worker needs to be held accountable.

I want to know what happened to the other brother! I hope he's well and with his sister or something! So sad! :( I'll sign that petition! :(

I signed the petition which requires 200,000 people to sign. Unbelievable! About 33,900 more to go.

Dang, I'd have thought it would have been filled up by now! Oh but I bet if that petition was to release the PS4 a week early that crap would have been maxed out! *smh*

I Googled up the boy's name and came up with the Facebook page:

One of the comment by his sister posted:

Hi Carrie- all of those are questions we are hoping that are answered soon. The boys' mother has not been in their lives since they were toddlers and did not know about what was going on. Cameron is living with me now, I am his legal guardian, and will be until he is 18.

Yes, at least the mother in question has been answered. Now we need to know why the social worker and police not doing their jobs protecting Quinten.

I am trying to figure out what kind of mother would abandon her kids like that.

Same kind as tons of fathers that abandon their kids when they find out the chick they were sleeping with becomes pregnant. Asshats. Maybe she had some sort of extenuating circumstances..... Sorry though, if I had a kid, nothing would keep me from them. Except jail, I suppose jail could do that.....

it does not matter.

some parents who could not handle children. i suggest you not to judge any people who are once a parent and give to someone else who want children. I am pissed off at the case workers for not doing the right thing for kids.

I am more concerned why the system failed to protect these boys and especially Quinten . No one came to help when the sister kept calling and reporting her brothers needed help. She was told not to remove the boys from the house as that would had been kidnaping the casework did not tell the girl how she could help her brothers legally . This is a crime and it needs to be fully investigated.

Blame on mother? What's shaking my head!

I'm very sad for Quinten. :(

my question is why wasnt there anything done when a child died in this condition by the police to start with? too many missing red flags by various agencies across the board

sweet boy, no one should ever experience this. RIP Quinten
