I'm online as 'Babi'. New here, obviously. Lost the last of my hearing a few
months ago. Fortuntely, I've been half deaf since infancy, so I'm in the
habit of watching lips move when people speak. It does help. I try to keep
a pen and pad nearby for the words I can't recognize.
On-line conversation is even more important to me now, and I have a great
time at a site called 'Seniorlearn'. It not only has numerous sites for book
discussions, you can take lessons in Latin and Greek if you like.
