July 4th Fireworks...and Pets

Cute. But true. When our dog came to live with us 3 years ago, she was terrified of things like thunderstorms and fireworks. Over time she has gotten rid of her fear of thunderstorms, we'll see how she does with fireworks this year. We don't set any off ourselves, but they're all over the neighborhood. She used to live in a mobile home before we got her, which has thinner walls than a house, so maybe that's where her fear came from.
