'Jaws' actor Roy Scheider dies

Good actor and he'll be missed by many, both in the movie industry and political scene. Acted exceptionally well in the movie "Jaws".

The movie "Jaws" is never forgotten. I refused to swim more than 5 feet deep because of that. I believe he was good fit as policeman in that movie. RIP, Roy Scheider.
 
Aw man, I was behind news about Roy Scheider. I remebered him from so many movies and he was famous for being in Jaws. I also loved watching him on "Sea Quest DSV" was the best one I enjoy. I knew he was ill for some time fighting his multiple myeloma cancer. He will never be forgotten. I say he a good actor. :)

Sea Quest DSV - oh yes I remember that, he is like "Steve Irwin" in the ocean.

Yeah, Almost! lol But I adore the dolphins in DVS "Dawin" and Lucas. They are very interesting. I was sad to hear that the person whom played Lucas is also gone from this earth. Sad. huh? :cool:

Yeah, I think I might be confused about DSV and him as Steve Irwin. I remember watching his real-life show, such as him with his scuba group go under the ocean and find the underwater plants, fish, etc. Did you remember?

yeah The real steve Irwin drived down underwater and he got killed by a sting-ray that a barb was 10 inch long hit him in the chest and died instantly. It was sad. My grandparents met him while they were visiting in Austrilua They love it there.
 
I do remember watching Seaquest with Roy in it and loved the show... certainly was surpirsed to learn of his death.... he gonna be missed very much for sure...

Yep me too,, I love watching his show and Now wife and daugther doing their own show called "Bindi's jungle"
 
I have seen all of Jaw movies. He is very good actor.

R.I.P. Roy :(

Yep he passed away from multiple myeloma cancer for some time and he was suppose to get a bone morrow tranplant but he died before that happens. I adore that man.
 
Wow I did not know that until just now... been busy out of town and on the boat over the weekend... Dang he was an awesome actor in Jaws.
 
he will be sorely missed by all of us he is great actor i love him in SeaQuest DSV
 
Roy died at the same hospital as my dad died at and my twin boys were born and died there. :(

RIP Roy... he was a good actor especially Jaws and will never be forgotten!
