James Brady died

I remember exactly where I was March 30, 1981. I'm a little surprised, I thought he was older then 73. RIP

Yes, that was a very dramatic day. I remember it well. It was also my birthday but I remember the shooting most.
 
I remember that day when I came home from school and watched on TV over and over. It was a traumatic day
 
May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted during this time of grief. Although I disagreed with his politics, his family deserves respect.
 
When husband showed me the news article on this from his political news app while we were in the car, I asked him if that was the guy who got shot along with Reagan and that a law named after him was passed. He said no so I was like, " Strange". Then 15 minutes later, he said to me that I was right and I asked him how did he know that. Ohhhh, it was on the radio.

RIP..I still remember that day.

Yeah, but wasn't Hinkley sent to a mental institution?

I was wondering the same thing last night when they mentioned he was still there. Don't see that happening anytime soon, truth be told.

This happen March 30, 1981 , so guns would look difference today. I guess if someone was rich enough they have bulletproof windows on their car.
I remember the President telling his wife that he forgot to duck when he got shot.

1981.... that was before my time. Nowadays they have snipers. And yes, one rich enough could afford those windows. And ducking is a natural instinct.
