IT'S SO HOT IN ARIZONA THAT...

...the birds have to use pot holders to pull worms out of the ground.

...farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from
laying hard-boiled eggs.

...the cows are giving evaporated milk.

...you can say 113 degrees without fainting.

...you eat hot chilies to cool your mouth off.

...you can make instant sun tea.

...you learn that a seat belt makes a pretty good branding iron.

...the temperature drops below 95, you feel a bit chilly.

...you discover that in July, it takes only 2 fingers to drive your
car.

...you discover that you can get a sunburn through your car window.

...you notice the best parking place is determined by shade instead of
distance.

...hot water now comes out of both taps.

...it's noon in July, kids are on summer vacation, and not one person
is out on the streets.

...you break a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m. before
work.

...no one would dream of putting vinyl upholstery in a car or not
having air conditioning.

What if I am living in Phx? You won't visit? ;_;

That list is SO true!! LOL! Except for the farmers' eggs.

lol thats pretty funny...

Well, i lived in Arizona for a summer last summer of 2002, and i gotta say it wasnt that too hot for me, i found it wayyyy much better than Minnesota... why? its so damn dry, while in MN its hot and humidty which makes it even much worse.

Yes its hot in arizona, but so dry that its comfortable heat. Everything is hot and never touch metal with your bare hands. Yea i pretty much was the only one outside having fun while others were inside standing in front of their AC:D

That's funny...since moving to Australia -- I've noticed the summer days are quite hotter here than in USA. I think the ozone layer hole is one of the few factors of why Australian summers are so hot. For a few days in a row last summer -- it hit between 95 to 104F !
