It's getting even more $$$$ to live in Brooklyn

I would imagine that a lot of houses will be changing hands. I guess that the city of Brooklyn can afford to raise price of houses.
 
Brooklyn isn't a city, it's a borough of NYC (hasn't been a city since the 19th century) anyways, yeah, it's wicked expensive there! It sucks because it's definitely the coolest borough (it just has a different feel to it than the other 4)
 
This is happen everywhere , realtor taxes and water bills keep going up in my city and I know people families that lived here for generations and being forced out their homes. A lot of local people are gone now and a whole new breed of people are moving in. Most people I talk to can't afford to shop down town anymore .

True, although I believe NYC has rent control laws that artificially influence the rental market.
