The PS2 version of Splinter Cell claims the number one spot on NPD's monthly video game sales chart for April.
The PS2 version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has claimed the top spot on NPD's monthly video game sales chart for March, ahead of the Ruby and Sapphire editions of Nintendo's latest Pokémon game which claimed positions two and four respectively. Def Jam Vendetta climbed three positions to third place, while The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker--which was last month's number one--slipped down to seventh position. All of the remaining games in this month's top 10 were new entries. Games exiting the top 10 this month included Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven , The Getaway, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
