Well, it's that time.

I have to give up alldeaf for awhile. I have some long term projects that I have to concentrate on and get going (college courses - will be finishing up a certificate this semester, a book, a web site, and others) and I won't be able to post much nor be on AIM. Believe me I've tried to juggle these things and keep up with the posts, threads, and other things going on here. Unfortunately, as it turns out it's one of the things I have to eliminate for now. However, I'll still be here lurking - just not in a posting capacity. I'll be keeping an eye on the progress of stem cells so I can get my first treatment eventually and restore my hearing.

It's been a ton of fun, though. Along the way I've met some awesome people (faire_jour, JennyB, deafdude1, jillio, Bottesini, etc.) and it's been great interacting with many of you. In the end I even found some of the best hearing I've ever had with a hearing aid as a result of being here.

Adios for now everyone. And good luck with all you do. Hopefully the workload will lighten up a bit down the road and I'll be able to resume regular posting habits. :cool2:

Please let me(and others) who are interested in the progress know about everything you learn. Let me know in advance when you plan to get your first treatment for an improvement of 20-40db. I would like to travel together with you if possible. It could be 3 years before we travel. You have any idea on the timeframe? My estimate is 3 years before 100+ pioneers get stem cells then we will be next.
