That has happened. I haven't seen that in AllDeaf but I have heard of deaf people called some oral person 'Heafie'. That is a slang for a deaf person who acts like a hearing person. See the first letter is 'H' so the person think being hearing is more important than being deaf.The exact opposite - a hearing person who is very much involved in Deaf World would be called 'Dearie'.
