While Googling for "hearing loss cure" I found several articles about low level laser therapy. They claim to treat and cure alot of ailments. Naturally, I am skeptical and wanted to post here and ask you experts. Have any of you tried low level laser therapy or know anyone who has? Id like to validate those claims and be informed of the risks.

Theres several articles on Google(I lost the links when my computer rebooted) but they claim an average of 15db reduction in your HL after a dozen seasons lasting 30 min each ear. They also claim to reduce/eliminate tinnitus. My dad is also interested, he wants me to hear better with hearing aids since I am profoundly deaf.

I've never heard of this (no pun intended), but since I tend to be a cynical person, I don't know how much faith I'd place in this treatment. If I were profoundly deaf, wanted to hear and hearing aids provided little or no benefit, I'd opt for a CI instead.

If it were effective, we would be hearing about it constantly.
