Dear Friends,

I am Subhash from India. Suffering from hearing loss in bot the ears. I was operated back in 95 for right eardrum operation. The doctor said there are perforations in both the eardrums and surgery is required. But after operation my hearing in the right ear was not improved instead it got worsen gradually. currently I am in moderately severe hearing loss for right and moderate hearing loss for left ear. To improve my hearing I decided to buy CIC for my right ear and I have selected the Starkey 3 series 20. after using this still I feel I can hear beter using my left ear. The HA in right allows me to hear the sounds unhearable before but still i can only hear sounds but i can not recognise what has been said. I am also thinking about getting another for my left ear. would it be possible to wear HS without being operated for eardrum perforation? or is it unvariable requirement for HA? I am afraid that if I am operated for left ear I would lost hearing like I lost in right.

what should i do?
