Hello you so called iPhone owners - lately since some of you might have upgraded the O.S to iOS 4 in your 3rd generation iPhones (maybe iPhone 4) has the iPhone crash for no apparent reason? It has occured to my iPhone 3Gs numeral of times today.. and I don't understand why. :aw:

I have not updated my iphone for more than 6 months. I am still keeping my jailbreak version alive. =)

Then you did bad job. I have no problem with iOS4 beta before iOS4 release for iPod touch 2nd Gen.

My iPhone 4 s OS 4 is no problem. Nothing wrong with it.

Maybe you have loading of crap-app. Try to remove useless app and reboot.

What you can do is to try reset all settings. This may solved the remedy of crashing. I had this before when I execute the app and all of sudden it shut down. Also you might want to try to clear all the cache.

How long time before crash between reboots? If it crashes few minutes after reboot, then it has bad or corrupted OS (aka bricked). Reinstall OS may solve the problem.
I nearly bricked my old BB but managed had BB reinstalled with the fresh ROM, saved myself a trip to customer service center. Right now, I have custom Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM on my HTC Touch Pro.

Not anywhere inbetween minutes - every now and then - iPhone crashed first time today earlier this morning, and now, it is fine - I just let it re-solve itself.
