Hello,

I am relatively new to the Deaf community, hearing impaired for most of my life but am now completely deaf due to a complication with surgery. I am looking for someone to help me through this, and learn how to communicate.
 
Welcome! I would be happy to help you with any learning you may need to do, but I really only understand ASL at a basic level, so we would be learning together through some of it
 
Hello! Welcome to the group. :) Sorry to hear about your surgery. :(

To learn, I downloaded an app called 'Memrise' and there are several courses for ASL on there. Just a thought, it gets the ball rolling and hopefully you can pick up more from there. Best of luck, I'm still learning ASL myself. :)
