Wanted to finally introduce myself on here. I just saw on my profile that I joined in October of 2009, but I've never posted anything. I joined so I could make more friends. I graduated in 2009 and moved far away from all of my family and friends but then I just never got around to posting. So, here it goes...
I'm a hearing, 25 year old Texan who has a bachelor's in deaf education from TCU. I am currently working on my graduate degree in social work and I want to eventually (far in the future) have my own private practice for clinical social work (counseling and therapy). After working in mainstreamed classrooms for four years now, my ASL is a bit rusty and my signing has become a combination of all of my student's signing preferences. I live near Fort Worth with my boyfriend and two cats (who I treat like my children).
I don't know about y'all, but I hate filling out "about me" type stuff... I feel I never know what to say, so if you want to know anything else, just ask.
