Yes, someone basically sits directly in front of you and mouths all the words clearly so that you can lipread them. I've used it before. I didn't find it helpful because of the delay between sound and the words appearing on the mouth, since I lipread primarily by matching the sounds I can still hear to mouthshapes, so if there's a delay, it gets all messed up and confusing.
