I'm writing a Master's thesis at the University of Mississippi for an ESL class and I am trying my best to put into words the frustration experienced by deaf students at the hands of hearing educators and administrators. Any Ideas????? Thoughts????

There are hundreds of books, articles and comments out there with what you are looking for. Don't reinvent the wheel. Do some research.

Agreed. If you are working on a master's thesis, then you should know how to do research.

I've done plenty of research but nothing out there from young deaf. This is the age of empowerment and finding strong statements from current students/recent graduates is slim.

Have you ever done any bona fide research papers? You should know that you can't just throw out a generic "put into words the frustration experienced by deaf students at the hands of hearing educators and administrators" plea/question. You need to state your questions clearly and specifically. You need to make sure you are targeting the correct audience ("young deaf" sic). You typically will need a way to attract the target audience - This is why people working on a bona fide thesis or research paper typically offer perks in return for people's participation. Oh, and posting it in the correct forum would help. Your post does none of these things. You also make a couple of grammar errors in your post. You got off to a bad start by copping a condensing attitude asking for "intelligent help" and to add insult to the injury, it seems painfully apparent that you, yourself are not even intelligent.

Sincerely,

An "intelligent deaf"

Aquaman...I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that perhaps he has done all the research but is looking for some personal quotes to emphasize his points.

So...MnE, what is the exact topic of your thesis? I don't quite understand how you're doing a thesis for a class, do you mean a TESOL program? I'm also doing an MA in TESOL and my thesis will also be about deaf students, but I'm doing a case study so all comments will be directly from the students themselves. (Well, as interpreted into English by me, probably.)

As Aquaman says, though, you'd do better to post in the education forum, and drop the "intelligent" from your title as it doesn't come across well at all.
