I did searching the Chrysler transmission like Torqueflites in transmission forum, found only one problem.... no reverse... Most troubled transmissions what I see is Ford Explorers with 4.0L and 4.6L. My wife's 2000 Explorer with a 5.0L V8 have no trouble with internal mechanical cuz of low RPM engines. Both 4.0L and 4.6L have high RPM (high horsepowers) makes the trans work hard overtimes, and need trans service annually. They (4.0L V6, 4.6L/5.0L V8) use same transmissions with different bellhousings.
