Yup, I remmby the 2.8L V6 engine in the 1980's Jeeps. The GM 2.8L V6 engines were so awful and emitting large gross pollutes. The biggest problems in there were carburetors that I used to tuning the carburetors for a senior smog technician where I was an apprentice to became a smog tech in many years ago.
No 4.0L In-line 6 or V6 engines in 2012 Jeeps, used. Sad. Newer Jeep's engines are In-Line 4, V6 and V8, sizes: 2.0L, 2.4L, 3.6L, 3.7L, 5.7L and 6.4L.
