Hi all
I am from South Africa and was delighted to find a forum as big as this one to throw a question or two onto the WWW and see what info I can get back.
I am currently researching the role of interpreters in post-secondary settings in SA and was wondering what the international response would be. What do your interpreters do / don't do at college and higher? Are they 100% neutral or do they have multiple roles? Terps, how do you cope with the role switching (if it happens) and do you have clear job descriptions etc.
Thanks guys, really appreciate your input!!
