Have u ever heard of an event that happens every Memorial's Day in Indianapolis ....... the Indy 500 ??? it's like Brickyard 400, but with a hundred miles more driving heh

Yeah the Indy 500 but it beats the Brickyard 400 in top speed can do 500 in less than 3 hours same for the brickyard with much faster cars.

u might notice the Indy 500 is the OLDEST long-running race in the world since 1911 The 1st winner of the 500 went almost 75 mph for 6 hours to win the race without a riding mechanic! The old days were sure :crazy: than nowadays high tech crap u see on TV

Indy cars suck. I like stock cars. And is it nothing like the Brickyard. I'll wait and see the 600 down in Charlotte later that day. The 600 is a night race...ALOT better. Nascar beats IRL.
 
Ohhhh just this afternoon while thinking about the Indy 500 thread in Sports I suddenly remembered one :crazy: guy won the race in 1913 when he was sooo DRUNK! He and his mechanic riding with him together drank 6 bottles of champagne during the whole race. Then they polished off another bottle of champagne at Victory Lane (That was before they started giving out milk to the Indy winners )


This guy really got twice the balls to drive drunk and still win the Indy 500. If he did that in 2K3, he'd be watching the race from the Jail Cell
