This is all new to me. I am in Columbia MO at work, but I had hearing aids, but due to carpal tunnel, I had a minor "accident", dropped them and they got smashed. I am not replacing them since before I had them I only had a 35-40% loss in each ear and I was just tested to have an 85-90% loss in each ear now. It has been a rough adjustment and I am trying to find all kinds of information, but not having too much luck. Also, I wasn't aware of the cost of some things. Insurance doesn't cover them, and I can't afford a lot. I can't even use my cell phone anymore because I can't hear on it, and it's not one of those on a contract. Just wanted to check things out and know that I'm not the only one.
